Sinus Infection Treatments

Scoliosis

When the spine is curved more than ten degrees on the Cobb scale, the patient may be diagnosed with scoliosis. The chiropractor may also suggest shoe or heal lifts if appropriate.
    • Acute antalgic scoliosis. If an individual sustains an injury to one or more discs in their back, the natural response is to lean in a way that takes pressure off the problematic areas. This in turn can generate spinal misalignment. By treating the injured disk and realigning the spine, the patient can regain a healthy and pain-free posture.
  • Structural scoliosis. This is a more severe form as compared to functional scoliosis. It is also more aggressive in its development.
